I had coffee tonight after work, then went to meet up w/ Verwin and Tita Jean @ Versailles...only I was there about 40 min early. So, I decided to head out to Best Buy so I could by myself a small fan for my desk...since my room gets so hot with the computer running all the time. So I walk around looking for the fans and I see rechargeable NiMH batteries...and I was talking to Jon about it yesterday, that I should get some because regular AA's get eaten up so quick by my camera. So I pick up the batteries and charger. It's a one-hour charger so it was a tad bit more expensive than the 4-6 hour NiMH rechargeables. Whilst in that same area, I notice the cf cards are on sale...so I pick up a 128 MB for $40(they were $59 last week). So I grab one of those too. I purposely avoided the DVD section cuz God knows I would've purchased like 10...and pass through the CD section. I lost my copy of the Hell Freezes Over album by the Eagles, so I pick that up too...on sale. I finally see a Best Buy "associate" and ask about the fans. He proceeds to inform me that they don't carry fans...so I then proceed to the checkout stand. Mission: Purchase a fan for room. Status: No fan, and bought $100 worth of other shit. I swear man, no self control when it comes to Best Buy and Target...NONE....

Moral of the story? If you're early for a dinner rendezvous, don't go ANYWHERE, just stay RIGHT where you are...
